Most events take place in the center of the city. The large community centers, the Ullevi and the Scandinavium, are located on the same street as the Svenska Mässan, the exhibition and congress center, and the Liseberg amusement park. Only a few blocks down the road is the city's main thoroughfare with its various shopping opportunities
